Zack Buechner, LATC, ATC, is an essential part of Performance, from leading the recovery services to providing athletic training to running the new podcast, Optimal Health Uncovered, Zack is always willing to help. By building solid relationships with his patients, Zach uncovers what they need to accomplish their goals and improve their lives.
As a sports fan who was always strong in science and math, Zack combined his two strong suits and decided to pursue sports medicine and athletic training. He enjoys working with athletes, having been the athletic trainer for the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons. When Zach served as the Head athletic trainer at Hebron Christian Academy, he and his medical staff were awarded the Safe Sports School Award in 2015 and 2019. Zach also worked as a physician extender and surgical assistant for the orthopedic surgeon Dr. Gary Levengood at Sports Medicine South.
Having spent most of his life in Georgia, Zach is a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves and never misses their games, along with his father and brothers. He enjoys visiting major league ball parks, spending time with his family and exploring the world around him.
