Jay Myerson, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, mentors all clinical staff at Performance, including the orthopedic residents and students of physical therapy programs completing their affiliations. Through education and coaching to help people to return to hobbies, activities and sports they love, Jay utilizes a patient-focused, integrative approach to optimize their health.
Physical therapy has been Jay’s calling since high school, and after volunteering at a physical therapy clinic, he knew he wanted to have an active role in making a difference in people’s lives. He works with people who are recovering from aches and pains, injury or surgery to help them reach their goals.
As years passed, Jay’s career path expanded to not only include helping and educating patients, but also his colleagues. He completed his residency and fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy at the Ola Grimsby Institute, and serves as an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University.
In his free time, Jay likes to play golf, run, travel and spend time with his friends and family, especially his wife, Justine, and daughter, Mikayla.
