Carolyn Surgent, DPT, is a mover by nature and loves to explore how the body works and moves. Though she started out in the field of architectural history, she danced professionally after obtaining her degree. Instead of studying the structure and function of buildings, she began to take an interest in the structure and function of the human body.
With an interest in orthopedics that runs in the family, Carolyn combined it with her love for the art of movement and obtained her DPT from New York University, a career choice that allows her to spend time and build relationships with her patients. She holds a deep curiosity on helping people and enjoys educating others on the importance of taking care of your mental and physical wellbeing.
