Brian Reynolds

Hamden
"People will only live better long term if they ultimately become the ambassador of their own health. I also encourage them to step out of their comfort zone by leading by example. People who trust me will follow me even if they are scared. Once they do… it's life changing!"

Brian Reynolds, MS, CSCS, FRCms, is a certified personal trainer and physical therapy aide. As an athlete himself, Brian initially chose to focus on strength and conditioning to help other athletes perform better and maximize the limited window of time they have between high school, college and professional sports. Through this, Brian found his passion for teaching and coaching others, and decided to remain in the field to make a clear difference in people’s lives.

Brian is an active educator in his community: he provided health and wellness programming for the Naugatuck Senior Center and presented on the harmful effects of sitting too much for the Connecticut Court Reporters Association and University of Connecticut Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Brian has also served as an adjunct professor in the Connecticut State Colleges & Universities system, teaching classes on health & wellness, anatomy & physiology and strength & conditioning.

In his spare time, Brian likes to stay active: he enjoys road races, cycling, basketball, hiking, martial arts and playing with his kids. But when he does finally take a break and sit down on the couch, you can find him watching football games.
