These small group classes are uniquely designed for clients (age 50 and above) who are looking to improve balance, gain strength, increase flexibility and have fun. Classes are run by our certified personal trainers and scheduled multiple times per week for convenience. We offer basic, intermediate and advanced classes.
How do I know which level is right for me?
Many of our clients who are in the Forever Fit classes have transitioned from Physical Therapy and into a small group setting. The trainer together with the physical therapist review the progress made and make a recommendation based on current skill level as to which class is the most appropriate. The client should feel challenged in a safe setting. If you are a new client attending for the first time, it’s always best to start out at the basic level and indicate to your trainer that you are unsure of which level is most appropriate. From there, the trainer will assess level of function and make a recommendation.
Can I try out different levels?
As long as you fit the criteria for participation for each level, we encourage you to try them out!
My elderly parent is 85 years old and needs exercise. Is 85 years old too old for the class?
No. In fact, many of our Forever Fit clients are well into their 70s and 80s and are benefiting from the small group setting. If you are a new client, we suggest starting in the basic class.
